Lemontree Recruitment Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for a passionate Deputy Manager to join a welcoming children's residential home in Newhaven. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced Registered Manager, lead a dedicated team, and help create positive outcomes for children and young people.
What You'll Do
* Support the day-to-day management of the home.
* Lead and motivate the care team.
* Ensure outstanding safeguarding and care standards.
* Support staff through coaching and supervision.
* Monitor care plans, risk assessments and children's progress.
* Deputise for the Registered Manager when required.
* Help prepare for Ofsted inspections and drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Experience in a children's residential home.
* Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager.
* Strong safeguarding knowledge and leadership skills.
* Working towards, or willing to complete, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.
* full driving licence holder
