Deputy Manager
Care Home | Dementia Care
We’re looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a well-established care home providing care and support to older people living with dementia.
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the home, supporting the care team and helping to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
The role will include supporting staff, maintaining care standards, overseeing the day-to-day running of the home and working alongside the Registered Manager to ensure the service continues to meet its regulatory and safeguarding responsibilities.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience in a senior care or management role within an older people or dementia setting
* Has a good understanding of person-centred dementia care
* Is confident leading, supporting and developing a care team
* Understands safeguarding, care planning and regulatory requirements
* Is organised, approachable and able to take responsibility when the Registered Manager is not on site
* Has, or is working towards, a relevant Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care
