About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager who is a registered mental health nurse with expertise in dementia and elderly care. In this role, you will support the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the care home, ensuring our residents receive the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Manager with the daily operations of the care home.
Ensure the care home meets all regulatory requirements.
Assess and evaluate the care needs of residents.
Develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Supervise and mentor care staff.
Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and staff.
Participate in training and development programmes.
Candidate Requirements:
Current and valid NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Proven expertise in dementia and elderly care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of CQC and regulatory requirements.
