Job Title: Deputy General Manager
Location: Dartford
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum, plus service charge
Join a dynamic team within a well-known branded restaurant in the Dartford. As the Deputy General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the restaurant. Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, managing staff performance, and ensuring smooth operations. Your leadership skills and industry expertise will be crucial in driving revenue, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
Lead by example to inspire and motivate staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards to deliver a consistent guest experience.
Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Conduct regular staff training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for revenue growth and cost management.
Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a branded restaurant environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
