DEPUTY CARE MANAGER - SUPPORTED LIVING
Role Overview: As the Deputy Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the supported living services. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day provision of care and support to residents, as well as leading and motivating a team of support staff. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of care delivery, promoting the independence and well-being of residents, and fostering a positive and inclusive living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing the services and leading support staff.
* Ensure person-centred care delivery aligned with residents' needs and care plans.
* Maintain compliance with regulations and company policies.
* Support staff development and training.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a similar care setting, such as supported living or residential care.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification (desirable).
* Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and best practices in care delivery.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks governing social care services.
