Role: Deputy Care Manager
Service: Domiciliary
Location: Newbury
Hours: 40 hours
Salary: £30,000 including oncall payment

Are you a passionate, motivated and dedicated Senior Care Assistant, Care Coordinator or existing Deputy Care Manager within a domiciliary service? Are you looking to work for a great supportive company who truly care about their clients and have high standards of care?

Toni at Amber Mace is working exclusively with a truly great client who expanded their existing services to the Berkshire area in 2023, their services are rated GOOD by the CQC and they have fantastic online reviews from their clients and relatives.

My client are looking for a fantastic Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager of this lovely homecare service. You will support the Registered Manager in the successful running of the service, marketing, growing their clients and recruitment. You will lead a team of care staff ensuring they continue to provide excellent standards of care to their clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to work with a care provider who truly cares about their clients and their team.

Role and Responsibilities
• To support the day to day running of the business including client care, staff management etc
• To support and actively be a part of the growth and expansion of the business and team
• To ensure all clients receive care packages appropriate to their needs
• Provide care to the clients including client reviews, intial assessments, risk assessments and provide person centred care plans
• Recruitment and training of the team including appraisals and reviews
• Ensure that you and your team adhere to Care Standards and continue the excellent reputation of the company
• Payroll duties
• Attend external meetings and respresent the company in a positive manner
• On call duties

Skills and Experience
• Self motivated, organised, caring and flexible individual
• A true passion for providing excellent care
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
• At least 1 years experience as a Senior Care Assistant/Care Coordinatior/Care Manager/Deputy Care Manager within a homecare service
• Excellent Leadership Skills - Lead by example
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience and knowledge of CQC standards
• Valid UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
• Resident in the UK with the right to work - Sponsorship not available
