We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen within our Commercial Services Team for a Deputy Accommodation Manager. You will be supporting the Accommodation Manager in providing excellent accommodation services to customers in line with our service standards, operational plan and contractual obligations with the University or NHS. You’ll help implement the local risk management controls to ensure customers, contractors, partners and staff live or work in a safe environment. Your key working relationships will include central services and the University or NHS partners, promoting engaging and positive relationships. When required, you’ll deputise for the Accommodation Manager.

What you'll have

* Understanding of student services including best practice

* Level 3 Certificate in Residential Letting and Property Management

* Up to date knowledge of housing legislation and requirements for HMO and understanding of the ANUK framework for landlords managing student accommodation .

* Strong IT skills e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

* You’ll be customer-focused with effective communication skills, both verbal and written

* Due to the busy nature of the role, you’ll need to be energetic with a ‘can do’, proactive approach to problem solving

* Knowledge of equality and diversity in the context of service delivery.
