The business we're working with is a highly-regarded garden centre group, and they're looking for a motivated senior department supervisor to support the running of their seasonal & outdoor furniture department in one of their larger sites.

About the role
As a department supervisor, you will support the manager in taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the department. You'll help lead, develop, and motivate your team, while ensuring the seasonal department runs smoothly and to a high standard, as well as covering for the department manager when needed.
Key responsibilities
Supporting in leading and developing the team to deliver excellent service and great results
Seasonal planning and setting retail standards
Delivering sales targets and meeting KPI's
Supporting the wider team day-to-day
Providing advice to customers and setting high service standards
Maintaining standards through creative and attractive merchandising, stock presentation, and promotional execution
The ideal candidate
Supervisory experience in a similar retail environment
Hands-on and a proactive attitude
A passion for customer service
Product knowledge of seasonal products, including Christmas and outdoor furniture is desired
