The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dentist to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Examine patients' medical history.
Prepare patients for treatment, including administering local anaesthesia.
Diagnose dental problems through examination, X-rays, and tests.
Clean teeth and remove plaque.
Identify and treat tooth decay with fillings.
Design and fit dental prosthetics such as bridges, crowns, and dentures.
Apply teeth-whitening treatments.
Conduct tooth extractions and root canal procedures.
Perform surgeries on diseased tissues and bones.
Prescribe medication as needed.
Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and fluoride use.
Promote good oral health and preventive dental care by scheduling regular check-ups and advocating for a healthy lifestyle.
Operate technical equipment such as X-ray machines.
Collaborate with other medical professionals including GPs, consultants, dental nurses, therapists, and hygienists.
Maintain accurate records of patients' dental structure.
Stay up to date with developments in dentistry.
Work alongside a medical nurse and receptionist.
Engage in continuing professional development (CPD).
Lead and support a dental team.
