Demand Planning Manager

Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled Demand Planning Manager, who has experience with FMCG, to enhance forecast accuracy and deliver superior customer service. You will lead the Demand Planning Team, ensuring accurate business demand forecasts through analysis of historical data, market trends, and customer insights. Your strategic planning will align supply and manufacturing operations with market demands.

As Demand Planning Manager, your key responsibilities will:

* Inspire and develop the Demand Planning Team, fostering a collaborative culture with clear performance expectations and KPIs.

* Facilitate the creation of the Demand Plan in the S&OP Process, incorporating intelligence from various functions (brand, sales, category & supply).

* Ensure an accurate base forecast, incorporating historical data, seasonality, market trends, and customer insights.

* Develop strong relationships with customer stock controllers/forecasters, challenge forecasts when necessary, and review collaborative data compliance.

* Lead periodic S&OP forecast review meetings.

* Act as the key contact for supply planning and logistics, balancing internal constraints and customer needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven emotionally intelligent leadership and team management skills

* Extensive experience in demand planning and forecasting, within the FMCG/food industry

* Strong communication and analytical skills

* High numerical aptitude with advanced Excel skills

* Excellent knowledge of the S&OP Process, demand planning software, and statistical forecasting techniques

* Customer-facing experience is desirable
