Delivery Manager (SC Clearance or Clearable)
Up to £605 per day (Inside IR35)
6-month initial contract
Reading (Hybrid, 1 day per week onsite)
We are working with a newly established engineering organisation at the forefront of a major international aerospace and defence programme. Backed by some of the world's leading aerospace companies, the business is responsible for developing next-generation digital engineering capabilities that will shape the future of complex defence systems. This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in a long-term transformation programme.
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the planning and delivery of capability demonstrations across a complex Digital Engineering environment. You'll work with engineering, IT and business stakeholders to showcase new technologies, validate technical solutions and drive adoption across a highly collaborative programme.
We are looking for:
Experience delivering technical projects or programmes within the aerospace or defence sector
Current SC Clearance, or eligibility to obtain it
Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across engineering and technology teams
Knowledge of Digital Engineering environments, systems integration, technical demonstrations or complex IT platforms
Experience working with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
It would be a bonus if you have:
Experience with Digital Thread, systems integration or interoperability testing
Knowledge of middleware technologies such as APIs, message brokers or event-driven architectures
