About the role - Delivery Driver (Self Employed)

Responsibilities
Load pre-sorted packages on to your van by stepping in and out of the vehicle safely
Deliver a set number of packages to customers, and where applicable install the delivered goods in the customers home (full training provided)
Adhere to all safety regulations on the road
Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records
Greet and interact with the company's customers and the public with a professional and positive attitudeWhat we need from you
Delivery drivers spend their days out on the road, so a passion for driving is a must!
You will be a highly motivated individual, able to thrive in a constantly changing environment and be willing to adapt to any situation that arises
Independent problem solver with good communication skills, both spoken and written English
The ability and willingness to be able to use stairs to deliver packages
Ability to manoeuvre packages up to 38 kg alone, and above 38kg with a buddy
Commercial (or work-related) driving experience is a plus but not essential
Experience of installing white goods is a plus but not essential
Full and valid UK or EU Driving Licence (max 6 points, NO active IN, DR or TT codes), held for a minimum of 2 years
Must pass a criminal background check
Must pass a 5 point drug & alcohol test
Our vans are held overnight at our delivery station therefore you must be able to commute to and from our delivery station
Must be aged 21
