Delivery & Collection Driver
Working week: 8 - 5 with potential overtime supporting the business requirements. 40 hrs a week
Rate: £17.29 PAYE or £21.89 Ltd/Umbrella
Location: IG11 0DS.
Duration: 12 weeks +
Regards to going past 12 weeks is a possibility, but remains uncertain as this position is to cover long-term sickness.
Points on Driving Licence: No more than 6 points
Essential: HGV Class 2 licence with DCPC.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Provide a prompt, professional and efficient collection and delivery service that delivers customer satisfaction in line with company targets and standards.
2 Ensure vehicles are collected and delivered on time and presented to a standard acceptable to the customer.
3 Complete all paperwork and processes accurately and thoroughly in line with Company requirement.
4 Drive vehicles in a careful and courteous manner with due regard to the Road Traffic Act and Company Procedures and immediately notify of any pending endorsements or prosecutions against your licence.
5 Act in a manner which is efficient, orderly and timely ensuring tasks are achieved within the set timescales.
6 Attend and participate in such training courses as deemed necessary.
7 Present to the customer a professional self-image and Company image through excellent service, safe operation, and timeliness.
8 To report to the Driver Controller on a day-to-day basis regarding Job Allocations, holiday requests etc.
9 To work collaboratively with MSC Controllers and MRT Technicians as applicable to ensure adherence to KPI's and SLAs.
10 To utilise public transport as necessary to fulfil vehicle collections and deliveries.
11 To support the workshop as necessary carrying out movements, road tests as requested.
11 Work within established Group's corporate governance policies, processes and procedures including those relating to Health and Safety and Environment
12 To carry out other duties as required to meet the varying demands of the business and satisfy customer needs
