We are recruiting on behalf of our client Cranswick Country Foods Preston, Hull. Our client is a leading UK food producer, that produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocer retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers. They have an ambitious investment programme focused on market-leading technologies and site infrastructure. This combined with the skill of their teams ensures that they are consistently and efficiently delivering for Their customers. Their state-of-the-art facility is also home to their trading and export team, who sell their expertly butchered pork across the world. With all that in mind our client is looking to expand the DAYS team and have numerous immediate opportunities for DAYS Butchery Line Leader in Butchery Department for full time work Monday to Friday. Our Client is searching for successful candidates that are reliable, flexible, self-motivated and hardworking, to which could lead to a permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

Work closely with line leader to ensure the production plan is completed, maintaining a high level of quality of work
Efficiently fill out relevant paperwork and documentation in accordance with our legislations
Perform Gas checks and label scan checks.
Be familiar with quality and customer specifications using the on the line QAS.
Ensure that lost production time is kept to a minimum by maintaining the speed of the line, and to minimise the waste of raw materials, packaging and consumables.
Ensure labels are correct and signed off when collecting from stores

You will have:

Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related)
Good standard of spoken and written English

Payrate: £12.34 per hour (for 40 hours of work)
