£27,000 - £32,000 per annum + Monthly Production Bonus
Location: Woking, Surrey (commutable from Guildford, Farnborough, Camberley, Bracknell, Aldershot, Leatherhead, Weybridge and surrounding areas)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (40 hours per week, flexible start and finish times available)
Duration: Permanent

Syntech Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in their search for an experienced Deburrer to join their skilled Machine Shop team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business renowned for producing high-precision engineering products. You'll be responsible for the cosmetic and functional finishing of high-value CNC machined components, ensuring every part meets the highest quality standards before progressing through production.

The Role

* Hand deburring precision CNC machined components

* Removing burrs, machining marks and sharp edges to exceptional cosmetic standards

* Carrying out precision finishing on tight-tolerance engineering components

* Operating rumbling and vibratory finishing equipment where required

* Using files, stones, scrapers, emery, Scotch-Brite, pencil grinders and die grinders

* Preparing components for anodising, coating, plating and final assembly

* Reading engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation

* Carrying out final visual and tactile inspection of finished components

What we're looking for

* Previous experience working as a Deburrer or within precision component finishing

* Experience finishing high-quality CNC machined components

* Ability to produce excellent cosmetic finishes without affecting critical dimensions

* Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, copper or similar engineering materials

* Knowledge of rumbling or vibratory finishing processes would be beneficial

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* Experience within precision engineering, aerospace, defence, medical or similar manufacturing environments would be advantageous
