Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Deburrer / Metal Worker to join a busy manufacturing and foundry environment based in St. Neots.
This is a great opportunity for a practical and hardworking individual looking for a temp-to-perm position. Previous foundry experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided, so candidates with transferable hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Deburring, fettling and finishing metal components.
Carrying out general metalworking duties.
Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Assisting with general foundry and production duties as required.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Following workplace health and safety procedures.
Working as part of a team to meet production requirements.
Wearing the appropriate PPE, which will be provided.
Requirements
Previous experience in a foundry, manufacturing or metalworking environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Physically fit and capable of handling reasonably heavy loads.
Reliable and committed to working Monday to Friday.
Able to follow instructions and work safely within a busy production environment.
Own transport is required due to the location of the site.

£14.00-16.00 per hour
Temp-to-perm opportunity
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
