Debt Recovery Team Manager
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £28500- £29000 plus Fantastic benefits
Hours of work ;37 hours per week , Monday to Friday
Dynamite recruitment is currently supporting a client with the recruitment for a Debt Recovery Team Manager.
As a Customer Services and Debt Recovery Team Manager , you will oversee a team and would be responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing debt recovery processes.
Your role would involve leading and supporting the team to achieve high performance in customer support and efficient debt collection. You will ensure compliance with policies and regulations whilst encouraging a positive and productive work environment.
Key tasks as a Debt Recovery Team Manager include :
Manage and lead a team of customer service rand debt recovery agents.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to the team
Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the team.
Monitor customer interactions and ensure a high-quality service is delivered
Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints promptly.
Develop and implement debt recovery strategies and procedures.
Review and prioritise accounts for collections
Ensure compliance with debt collection laws and regulations.
Track team performance against targets and goals.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to your team
Implement initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare and analyse reports on team performance and key metrics.
Identify trends and recommend improvements based on data insights.
Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
The ideal skills required :
Proven experience in customer service and debt recovery, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
Strong leadership and people management skills. Will have good communication skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
