Debt Advisor

Description:

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a leading, well known brand based in Christchurch. Our client is seeking to recruit a Debt Advisor on a Fixed Term Contract basis

Key responsibilities:

Deliver Debt Advice and Money Guidance to customers, understanding their financial position and identifying ways in which this can be improved, ireferring to other advisers/agencies where needed
Assist residents to prepare financial statements
Prepare and present cases to the necessary statutory bodies and negotiate with third parties as appropriate
Provide advice and signposting towards, training or employment, linking up with internal and external specialists to assist
Maintain accurate records of cases, in line with policy, procedure and legislation
Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Recent or current experience working in a similar role, providing advice, information and guidance to customers is essential
The ability to build rapport with great people, communication, and engagement skills.
A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple cases at once.
A MaPs Accredited Debt Advice Qualification to Specialist/Caseworker Level is desirable, but not essential
Salary & Benefits:

Up to £34,500 depending on experience.
£450 flex-pot annually, discounted shopping and cycling scheme

Location- Christchurch
Duration- 10 months
Pay- £32,000- 34,500 p/a
Hybrid- 2 days in office, 3 at home
