Dealership Brand Accountant
Up to £60k p.a. dependant on experience.
Location: Essex/North London area
Offering Hybrid working offering 2 days from home per week but will manage a small team from HQ so will need to be there at least once a week.
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Automotive Dealership Brand Accountant working as part of a well renowned Motor trade /Automotive Dealership Group. To be considered for this role you will have held a senior Accountancy Management role within the Automotive Industry. This Is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Motor Trader Dealership Brand Accountant with working knowledge of a dealer management system such as Kerridge /CDK or Pinnacle. You will be a highly analytical Accountant with a hands-on approach with excellent leadership skills and great attention to detail. Outline of the role is to ensure that the accounting systems, principles, and financial controls are accurately adhered to and maintained, as specified within the Group.

Dealership Brand Accountant key responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and manufacturers business management returns.
* Preparation and analysis of financial reports. Preparation of assets employed, funds employed and cash flow.
* Ensure that continual assessment of the standard of performance of the Accounts Department team is carried out to ensure the achievement of objectives.
* Proactively manage a small team of First Point and store-based Accountants, Assistant Accountants, Account Assistants & cashiers.
* Assist the Departmental Managers with the preparation of annual profit plans, to meet the required deadlines.
* Provide assistance with the implementation of recommendations as specified by Internal/External Auditor.
* Provide Assistance to the Brand Financial Controller in any tasks as required and to help ensure all procedures are standardized where possible.
* Assist with the annual budgeting process to ensure deadlines are met and there are realistic targets based on the relevant market conditions and prior year’s results.
Dealership Brand Accountant Expectations:
* Ensure that all existing controls, including internal control procedures, are maintained, and updated.
* Ensure that Group deadlines for submission of accurate financial accounts are met.
Dealership Accountant Skills
* Senior Account Management experience within the Automotive/Motor Industry
* Working knowledge of a Dealer Management system i.e. Kerridge or pinnacle coupled with strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
* Good organisation and administrative skills
* Can communicate effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent level of numeracy
