Description:
We are seeking a professional and experienced Dealership Accountant to join our client's prestigious independent automotive dealership located in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The ideal individual will have a strong background in automotive accounting, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department
Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time
Process payroll for all employees
Process sales and purchase invoices
Maintain accurate financial records ensuring compliance with company procedures
Support the business with general accounting and financial administration dutiesRequirements of the Dealership Accountant:
Proven experience within an automotive accounts role or similar
Relevant accountancy qualifications
Proficiency in Sage 50 or similar accounting software
Strong knowledge of VAT returns and payroll processes
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Good IT and financial administration skills as the Dealership Accountant
