Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Monday to Friday – 08:00–16:00 ONLY
Fed up with shifts, nights and giving up your weekends?

No rotating shifts.
No night shifts.
No weekend working.
And to top it off, the site has a Christmas shutdown, so you can enjoy the festive period with your family and friends without worrying about work.
You'll be joining an established engineering team, working across a variety of production equipment and site services. It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety, so you'll never be stuck doing the same thing every day.
What will you be doing?
You'll be involved in:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and routine checks.
Responding to breakdowns and getting equipment back up and running.
Fault finding across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and control systems.
Finding the root cause of problems rather than just fixing the immediate issue.
Helping to keep production equipment safe, reliable and running efficiently.
Supporting improvement projects and new equipment installations.
Keeping maintenance records and the CMMS up to date.
Working closely with the production team to keep things running smoothly.
Supporting engineering improvements across the site.
Taking part in the engineering call-out rota when required.
What are we looking for?
We're not expecting you to tick every box. If you're a good all-round Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills, we'd like to hear from you.
You'll ideally have:
An engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 engineering qualification.
Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing, production or an industrial environment.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
Experience with PPM and breakdown maintenance.
Knowledge of pneumatic and control systems.
Experience working safely with isolation and permit-to-work procedures.
A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to get stuck in and solve problems.
Experience with PLCs, drives, robotics, 18th Edition or within food/regulated manufacturing would be a bonus — but don't worry if you don't have everything.
