Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:30am - 6:00pm

The Role
As a Warehouse Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, supporting the movement of goods from receipt through to dispatch.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating mechanical handling equipment, including Counterbalance forklift trucks
Safely unloading delivery vehicles while ensuring all goods are handled with care
Storage of goods safely and efficently in accurate warehouse locations
Using handheld RF scanners to accurately book in inbound stock and maintain inventory accuracy
Identifying and reporting any shortages, damaged goods or stock discrepancies
Carrying out manual handling tasks safely and in line with company procedures
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment in accordance with health and safety standards
Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily productivity and service targets
About You
We're looking for reliable, motivated individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy working as part of a busy team.
To be successful, you'll have:
Experience in operating a counterbalance forklift truck
Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience, or transferable skills from a similar environment
A strong work ethic with a reliable employment history
Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
The ability to undertake manual handling duties in a fast-paced environment
Experience operating warehouse equipment is advantageous, although training may be provided
