Job Title: Day Shift Train Cleaner – Weekends Only!
Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Interviews: Immediate Start / 6 months initial contract (temp to perm)

The Candidate:
We are seeking energetic, hard-working, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team! You will use your skills and experience at Brighton Lover’s Walk Depot, performing various cleaning tasks to ensure the trains are clean, tidy, and presentable for passengers. Ideally, you will have a background in the transportation sector, housekeeping, or a similar cleaning environment.
The Role:
Ready for a rewarding challenge? Here is more about the role! Working as a day shift train cleaner on the Saturday & Sunday shifts, you will ensure the interiors of the trains are clean & presentable for passenger service by performing tasks such as hoovering, mopping, sanitising, and deep and full cleaning. Please note that this job requires physical activity and being on your feet for the duration of your shift.
Requirements:
If this sounds exciting, here’s what you need to be considered: Ideally, you will have experience in transportation, industrial, or house cleaning environments and be able to work Saturdays and Sundays from 08:00am to 15:30pm. Flexibility to cover additional shifts is preferred – please note if you hold a full time job, you will not be able to occupy this role due to tiredness & fatigue rules.
Rate of Pay:
Standard hours (35 hours per week) - £12 p/h
Overtime (hour 36+) - £14.40 p/h
Rest Day Working - £15.60 p/h
Bank Holiday - £24 p/h
After 12 weeks, you are eligible for a pay increase as part of Agency Worker Rights.
Training and PPE provided.
Opportunity to join on a permanent basis after a 6-month initial contract.
