Description

Data Quality Assurance Analyst

Lead and execute end-to-end testing activities for data solutions, ensuring accuracy, quality, and reliability across business-critical systems.
Create, maintain, and execute detailed test scripts, test cases, and test scenarios for data, ETL, and pipeline testing.
Validate and test Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, workflows, and data integrations to ensure successful data movement and transformation.
Manage defects and test activities using Azure DevOps, including defect logging, tracking, retesting, and reporting.
Perform back-end data testing, analysing large datasets to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and root causes.
Validate data models and dimensional models, ensuring data structures, relationships, and business rules are correctly implemented.
Use SQL to interrogate databases, read schemas and tables, reconcile data, and verify complex data transformations.
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, providing clear testing feedback, quality assurance leadership, and recommendations to support successful project delivery.Profile

Data Quality Assurance Analyst

A successful Data Quality Assurance Analyst should have:

Strong Data Testing experience with a proven ability to validate data quality, integrity, transformations, and large datasets across complex environments.
Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure DevOps, including ETL workflow testing, pipeline validation, test management, and defect tracking.
Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write queries, interrogate databases, read schemas and tables, and perform data reconciliation and validation.
Solid understanding of data modelling and dimensional modelling, including testing data relationships, facts, dimensions, and business rules.
ISTQB Data Testing certification (or equivalent) and recent, demonstrable experience working in Data QA or Data Test Analyst roles within Agile delivery teams.Job Offer
