Role: Data Modeller

Duration: 5 Months

Location: Hybrid (2 days a week in office)

Rate: £400 per day (umbrella)

Are you a skilled Data Modeller looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client, a leading company in the Utilities industry, is seeking a talented and experienced individual to join their team on a temporary basis for a contract of 5 months. If you have a passion for data modelling and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then this is the position for you!

As a Data Modeller, you will have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders to understand and gather data requirements for price control modelling. You will collaborate with the team to design, build, and improve the current price control model. In addition, you will create robust controls and validation checks to ensure accurate results. You will also play a key role in determining and managing data cleansing requirements, as well as tracking, challenging, and reviewing data inputs. Your attention to detail and excellent organisational skills will be crucial as you take responsibility for the detailed planning of the modelling process.

To excel in this role, our client is looking for the following qualifications and skill sets:

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Power Query and Power BI.
Advanced excel skills.
Excellent presentation, communication, and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
