Description:

Data Modeller

- Up to £700 per day outside IR35

- Initial 6 month contract

- London based with 1-2 days a week in the office ideally

- Please note you must have some experience within the insurance sector

A leading, global insurance company is looking for an experienced Data Modeller to join their growing data function with a focus on delivering modernisation and transformation projects

Duties will include:

- Gathering of data modelling requirements from stakeholders.

- Analysing and translating business needs into solutions and models

- Ensuring users engage with data model and adhere to Data Management Framework policies

- Evaluating existing data systems and working with team to create conceptual data models and flows

- Developing best practice for data coding 

- Reviewing modifications of systems for cross-compatibility 

To be considered suitable you must have the following skills/experience:

- Strong data modelling background 

- Experience within the insurance sector

- A good understanding of business analysis and how BA / data modelling work together

- Understanding of data governance and data catalogs
