Futures have been supporting Digital Transformation projects for the past 25 years, working with some of the UK’s most complex and challenging organisations, from central government to local police forces, manufacturing and FMCG giants to local authorities and NHS Trusts.

Today, we are supporting a brilliant manufacturing company in Greater Manchester as they transition from Microsoft Dynamics AX to a customized Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations ERP solution. We are seeking an experienced Data professional with a proven track record in Data Migration and Data Architecture. This is a temporary, fixed term opportunity with an estimated 12 months of duration.

You will be supporting a leading manufacturer whose products are sold across the UK, North America, Australia and beyond. Working with their chosen Microsoft partner and inhouse Project Management and Development team, you will be taking ownership of the Data Migration aspect of this ERP transition.

Ideally, you will have worked on a similar project, migrating from Dynamics AX to D365 F&O on more than one occasion. You will have experience in the manufacturing or FMCG industries and an understanding of the culture and challenges within these industry sectors. You will be a methodical, process-based data specialist with an eye for quality and fine detail. You will be a team player with excellent stakeholder management capabilities. Core Responsibilities:

You will enjoy working closely with D365 project manager and team members along with subject matter experts from around the business.
Own and serve as the expert for Data and Migration activities which will lead to the successful transition from AX to D365 F&O.
Support workshops to understand requirements and develop solutions to migrate all forms of data.
Manage the data migration activities from end to end for the project duration.
About You

You will have successfully migrated AX2012 to Dynamics 365 F&O multiple times.
Display a passion for all thing data and its migration.
Have extensive real-life exposure and use of Microsoft data applications stack.
In depth knowledge e.g. AX, D365, Azure, SQL server and queries.
Strong understanding of leading databases and design best practice.
Good requirements gathering skills, delivering both current and future-state solutions.
Self-motivated and possess ability for critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving.
A solid communicator with practiced interpersonal skills, an enabler for collaboration.
Comfortable to set and deliver to tight deadlines, work in an efficient manner.
Have 5+ years AX/D365 data knowledge and migration.
An advantage; 5 years in large enterprises (£60M or greater)
You will be able to commute to South Manchester (Stockport area) on a regular basis
