Hybrid / Remote) Seeking a BDP Data Manager to lead and implement effective data management practices. This role is pivotal in aligning data operations with strategic objectives, overseeing the integration of new data management tools, and ensuring a seamless transition to standard operations.

Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic implementation of data operation practices, ensuring alignment with program objectives.

Oversee the introduction of new data management tools, developing processes that underscore data's strategic importance.

Advocate for high-quality data use in organisational decision-making, collaborating with stakeholders to embed data-driven insights.

Develop and manage a governance framework to maintain data integrity, privacy, and compliance, aligning with legal standards.

Design data management processes and lead change management initiatives to facilitate smooth transitions and foster a data-driven culture.

Establish policies for master data and lifecycle management, ensuring data consistency and compliance.

Educate the organisation on leveraging data for decision-making, supporting the development of self-serve tools and reporting.

Person Specification:

Demonstrable experience in strategic data leadership, data governance, and compliance.

Proven ability to design and implement data management processes, with a strong background in change management.

Experience in master data and lifecycle management, with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

Advocacy for the strategic use of data, with skills in facilitating workshops to improve data literacy.

Strategic thinker, collaborative, adaptable, ethical, with strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and an educator's approach to data literacy.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience advocating for data within organisations, embedding data-driven insights, and involvement in similar initiatives.

Expertise in developing and managing data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Skills in designing and implementing data management processes, leading change management efforts, and managing master data processes.

Background in facilitating workshops to improve data literacy, with a strong understanding of data's strategic impact and governance frameworks.
