More about your role
We are looking to recruit a Data Governance Analyst to join our data team. You will play a key role in establishing and maintaining data governance practices in order to ensure that data is accurate and metadata is documented correctly. You will work closely with the rest of the Data team (including Engineers and Architects) to ensure that data governance needs are met.

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for data governance practices, and will oversee the smooth and effective circulation of data throughout the organisation. Your primary focus will lie in ensuring the accurate capture and maintenance of the groups Metadata, in addition to the monitoring, reporting and driving resolution of data incidents, in order to improve data quality, reliability, and accessibility.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Data Governance Analyst, knowledge of Data Governance principles, analytical capabilities and be an adept problem solver. Experience of data analysis, and data modelling (hands on experience with conceptual, logical and physical data models) is also beneficial.
