They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Data Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. Role and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Managing Data Ingestion: Overseeing the data ingestion process through various APIs to ensure seamless data integration.
Utilizing Microsoft Azure: Employing the robust features of the Microsoft Azure platform for effective data handling and storage.
Curating Data with SQL: Using advanced SQL querying to curate and structure data for analytics and reporting purposes.
Collaborating with End Users: Engaging with end users to understand their data requirements, ensuring that datasets are accurately made available in Databricks, SQL, and PowerBI environments.Required Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
API Understanding: Strong experience in managing and integrating data through APIs.
Proficiency in JSON: Expertise in handling and manipulating JSON data formats.
Advanced SQL Skills: Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries for data curation.
