Data Centre Operations Manager
Location: Slough
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Package
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a global Data Centre based in Slough. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the critical site is maintained and operating to the highest standard and complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the building, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
* Ensure that all building systems are operating efficiently and effectively, including HVAP, UPS and CRAC Units.
* Manage a team of engineers and contractors to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and on time.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that the building remains in good condition.
* Manage the budget for building operations, including forecasting and reporting on expenses.
* Ensure that all health and safety regulations are met and that the building is a safe and secure environment for occupants.
* Liaise with tenants and other stakeholders to address any concerns or issues relating to the building.
Qualifications and Experience:
* NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) - Or Equivalent
* AP Status – Electrical or Mechanical
* Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance requirements.
* Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in implementing and monitoring compliance
