About the Company

Our client is a dynamic driven UK-Based Mechanical and Electrical Main Contractor, known for delivering building services solutions in the Data Centre, Commercial, Residential and Refurbishment sectors. They pride ourselves on providing a true Engineering solutions at optimal quality. Their success is based on a mixture of expertise, repeat business and great personalities!

Due to this success, they are now seeking experienced Electrical Project Managers for a Data Centre project based in Frankfurt, Germany

Role Scope

Reporting directly into the Business Unit Leaders, the Electrical Project Manager will drive the team through exciting Data Centre projects according to programme, budget, and quality.

Technical Skills

* Electrical Qualifications including HNC or equivalent.

* SMSTS or IOSH.

* Current Supervisor or Manager CSCS Card.

* IT Skills, a good working knowledge of: o Microsoft Word.

* Microsoft Excel.

* Microsoft Outlook.

* Project Management Software i.e., Microsoft Project, Asta. You will have a proven track record of successfully carrying out a similar role

Responsibilities

Aside from overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects (You’ve got to know what you are doing!) As an Electrical Project Manager, you’ll be expected to plan, implement and deliver projects according to programme, budget and quality…There’s also a few other responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage all aspects of the electrical scope of the data centre project

* Develop and execute project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors, to ensure project deliverables are met

* Manage and mentor a team of electricians and subcontractors

* Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies

* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards

* Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management

* Resolve any project-related issues or conflicts in a timely and efficient manner

Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager with European Data Centre projects (Essential)

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and construction practices

* Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale electrical projects from start to finish

* Excellent leadership and communication skills

* Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines

* Experience with budgeting, cost control, and resource management

* Proficiency in project management software and tools

* Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes, including NEC and local building codes
