Description:
Due to continued growth and an increasing project workload, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Structured Cabling Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have experience working across commercial, fit-out and data centre environments, carrying out the installation, termination, testing and fault-finding of both copper and fibre cabling systems. You should be comfortable working independently or as part of a larger project team and possess strong customer-facing skills.
Key Requirements:
* 3-5 years' experience within structured cabling, data centre or commercial installation environments.
* Fibre installation, splicing and testing experience.
* Experience using Fluke CertiFiber Pro and Versiv testing equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret site drawings and project specifications.
* Full UK Driving Licence and ECS/CSCS Card.
* Willingness to work away, nights, and occasional overseas projects when required.
Desirable:
* IPAF, PASMA or SSSTS.
* SC or DBS clearance, or willingness to obtain.
