Data / Business Analyst

Description:

A leading FMCG company, is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with business analysis experience to join their team on a contract basis. As a Data / Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in deep data analysis, using your expertise to draw data assessments and provide valuable insights to support decision-making and drive efficiencies within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Perform deep data analysis, assessing and analysing specific material information such as widths, lengths, formats, and material types.
Work independently with data extracts from SAP or collaborate with a team of Technical Experts to explore data insights from across the business.
Create effective communication summaries using PowerPoint to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
Apply your understanding of IT analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of data-driven solutions.
Ensure timely delivery of tasks and adapt to changing business priorities.Job Requirements

Significant experience in conducting deep data analysis, preferably in a FMCG company or related industry.
Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyse complex data-sets.
Experience in using Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is preferred.
Proficient in using PowerPoint to create impactful presentations.
Understanding of IT analysis principles and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Self-driven and able to work against deadlines.

This is an initial 6 month, outside, contract
