Data Architect (OSS)
Reading
Responsibility
Understand, analyse, and document the data flow architecture of key business processes & subprocesses including key attributes such as description, purposes, categories.
Analyse and document the information (data) models/structures for data category: input, output, event notification, validation, servicer management involved between process and sub-systems (Northbound & Southbound) based on
Analyse & document the Configuration Item (CI) data mapping between business processes, inventory system and CMDB (CI & relationship models) for service management integration
Collaborating with and supporting CMDB/ITSM product vendor to create & manage CI and relationship in CMDB.
Preparing a comprehensive data management and governance guideline for data mapping & loading, lifecycle management, administration.
Identify and document all security, regulatory & quality compliance dependencies.
Identify, assess, and document any critical gaps and risks impacting the effective execution and outcome of the processes with mitigation recommendation.
Skills
Must have a good track record of Telecom end-to-end system architectures/solution/data design/consulting/platform architecture experience across OSS/BSS domains and large/medium telecom operators.
15+ years of experience in the IT/ Telecommunication industry domain with 7+ years of IT, Telecom design, and OSS/BSS architecture.
Extensive experience in Data modelling, mapping and integration for business processes and systems (to operate network service & resource domains)
Experience of resource/service inventory migration, data migration
Experience in Configuration management data modelling, CMDB data architecture.
Understanding and exposure of cloud services.
Knowledge of OSS/BSS sub-domains - Ordering, workflows, orchestration, fulfilment, Fault, Performance management, ETL etc.
Extensive experience in industry standard BSS and OSS platforms (such as ServiceNow)
