ROLE SUMMARY:

Job Title – Data & Systems Team Leader

Location – Remote-working

Position type – Full-time & permanent 

Start Date – August 2024

Salary Range – £30,000 – £32,000 dependent on skills and experience

Role and Responsibilities 

Lead the School Setup team, as part of the Education Operations Team, ensuring all team members are fully engaged and performing to the best of their abilities

Proactively planning and coordinating the administrative and operational aspects of school programmes, including resource allocation, scheduling, and compliance with the school’s educational standards

Work closely with the Customer Services, Heads of Key Stages, Heads of Year, Head of Timetabling, IT, and other departments, across the business, to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes

Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for school setup activities, ensuring consistency and high-quality outcomes across all initiatives

Monitor project timelines, making adjustments as necessary to meet key milestones and targets

Effectively handling any complaints associated with your team’s function, ensuring to manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure a timely and effective resolution 

Provide regular progress reports to the Head of Education Operations and other stakeholders

Identify potential risks and issues in the setup process, developing contingency plans to mitigate impact

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to suggest and implement enhancements to setup processes

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements

Focus on delivering excellent customer service and technical knowledge

Keep up to date with all areas of the business to ensure the team are kept informed and providing accurate information

Leading, coordinating and organising on agreed aspects of professional learning

Conducting regular checks for quality assurance and improvement purposes

Supporting the appraisal process and professional development of the team

Organising and providing induction and support for new staff joining the team

Supporting that safeguarding requirements and training for the team have been implement and completed

Updating and providing information for the Head of Education Operations to ensure the smooth running of the school

Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to school’s policies and procedures

Ensuring that the team are otherwise deployed to areas of the school that require assistance during any period of less demand for your team

Reporting back to school leadership about processes which could be improved with a solution-focused approach

Ensuring that all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed by the team

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field

Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational or operational environment

Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Familiarity with online education platforms and technologies is highly desirable

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
