Do you have a background in Financial Services or Banking?
Are you looking for role your that allows you to apply your GDPR regulatory knowledge to shape change within a business?
My client, a specialist financial services organisation, are looking for a motivated, knowledgeable and proactive Data and GDPR Analyst to join their growing Business Operations and Assurance Team (BOAT).
Working closely with the Data and GDPR officer you will support them as they continue to develop and enhance the organisation's data privacy programme, whilst offering data protection advice to multiple business areas ensuring they meet their obligations.
Responsibilities will include:
* Data Subject Rights requests. Ensuring correct procedure is followed in logging, tracking, compiling, completing and responding to customer requests,
* Iinvestigating and collating information about data incidents. Including the review and completion of data protection impact assessments (DPIAs)
* Supporting the business with data protection enquiries.
* Creating and maintaining data protection procedures
As your knowledge of the business grows you will also share responsibilities for the GDPR officers role as Conduct and Culture Working Group Chair.
To be considered, you will need to have:
* Substantial experience working in a regulated financial environment.
* A strong understanding of UK Data Protection Regulations and how they apply to Banking Operations
* The ability to demonstrate understanding of incidents and the reporting requirements of a financial organisation
The successful candidate will be a natural problem solver with an analytical mindset. You will possess excellent communication skills and be adept at liaising with stakeholders and clients at all levels.
This is hybrid working position working a minimum of 2 days per week from our clients Kings Hill headquarters. Core hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
