Data Analyst - Power BI
12 month fixed term contract / London (Hybrid working policy)
My client is looking to recruit at Data Analyst who will focus on Power BI and Excel supporting and enhancing the existing HR reporting and analytics portfolio.
Key responsibilities
* Advanced PC skills in Microsoft Office products, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerBI including DAX, ETL, formulae, vlookups, filtering, graphs and pivot tables
* Sound knowledge and experience using PowerBI
* Experience of troubleshooting data issues, identifying root causes and working through to resolutions
* A high level of numeracy, and excellent attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal and client service skills with a proven ability to communicate at all levels, both written and spoken, with individuals and larger groups
* Ability to explain and present technical information to non-experts and support and coach users on technologies
* Understanding of the role of HR in a large organisation and of how effective management information and systems can enhance HR's value to the business
* Strong reporting skills, with an aptitude for producing clear and effective MI
* Professionalism in all aspects of the role, and a practical understanding of handling confidential and sensitive data appropriately
* Previous experience of working within a reporting or analytics role
* Previous experience of Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools desirable
