Position: Data Analyst
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:30 - 16:30 with a one-hour unpaid lunch
Salary: £14.42 per hour
Duration: Until Friday, 20 December 2024
Start Date: Requires 10 business days for IT setup

About the Role:
A dynamic company is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with extensive proficiency in Power BI to join their team. This role involves managing databases, interpreting large quantities of data, and producing insightful reports for stakeholders. The position requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:

Manage databases, including linking datasets using Microsoft Excel Power Query.
Interpret and manage large quantities of data.
Plan and implement tasks effectively, managing timing plans with a professional, outcome-focused approach.
Produce reports that provide clear insights to stakeholders.
Work closely with team members and operate without direct supervision on a day-to-day basis.
Utilize Microsoft Office programs, with an emphasis on Excel and Power BI, to create queries, tables, and reports.
Adhere to and follow all company policies and procedures. Person Requirements:

Desirable: Experience in automotive retail.
Proven experience working with Power BI.
Knowledge of SSRS or SharePoint.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
Accurate and analytical mindset.
Strong communication skills.
Detailed and accurate work ethos.
Self-motivated with a strong problem-solving aptitude.
Comfortable working within an SLA/environment with proven experience of achieving against challenging performance targets.
Logical approach with a high level of numeracy and accuracy.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Flexible and adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work closely with others as part of a team.
Ability to manage own workload and prioritize conflicting activities.
Forward-thinking with a positive, can-do attitude.
