On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Data Analyst for a 10 month contract based in London.

Purpose of the Role:

You will be part of a program team that supports Market fees analysis and implementation of a new framework. The scope includes Exchange and Broker fees, Clearing and Settlement fees but also client connectivity costs.

Responsibilities of the role:

As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for:

Conduct analysis to understand Exchange and Broker fees, Clearing and Settlement fees but also client connectivity costs.
Check data quality across the IT chain from the supplier all the way to the finance system.
Reconcile information for various sources to identify and explain potential gaps root causes.
Compute fees to define accurate amount.
Work with IT and business stakeholders to remedy any identified gap.
Document analysis approach and results all along the exercise.
Prepare support documentation for the operational committee and the steering committee.
Coordinate the organisation of workshops with key suppliers, meeting notes and document the outcome.

What we require from the candidate:

Must be expert in Excel, and quick to process data as data analysis correspond to 80% of the role. Excel capabilities will be tested during the interview process.
Must be able to prepare comprehensive synthetic PowerPoint representing progress with graph and with comments "to the point".
Data management skills.
Strong analytical mind and capability to resolve issues.
Previous knowledge of market structure and front to back cash equity markets is preferred.
