Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough surveys to identify the root cause of damp and mould issues within their housing properties
* Handle disrepair claims efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
* Perform structural surveys to assess the integrity and safety of our housing stock.
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective strategies for addressing damp and mould issues.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and external stakeholders on best practices for preventing and remedying damp and mould problems.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in surveying damp and mould issues, with a strong understanding of building construction principles.
* Familiarity with social housing environments and experience in handling disrepair claims is highly desirable
* Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret survey data accurately
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, contractors, and colleagues.
* Proficiency in relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting.
