Job Opportunity: Damp & Mould Operative (with Painting Duties) - West Essex

MMP Consultancy are looking for experienced operatives to work in social housing, primarily carrying out damp and mould remediation in line with Awaab's Law, with additional painting and decorating duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct damp and mould inspections, treatment, and prevention in tenanted and void properties
Advise tenants on damp and mould prevention
Carry out minor repairs and damp-proofing
Complete painting and decorating tasks as needed
Maintain health & safety standards and accurate records via PDA

Requirements:

Proven experience in damp and mould treatment (painting experience desirable)
Basic DBS
Full UK driving licence
Asbestos Awareness certification
Strong communication and customer service skills

Benefits:

Company van, fuel card, and PDA system provided
Pay Rate: £20.00 to £21.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon-Fri)
Location: West Essex
