Location: Lewisham, London

Salary: £93 - £105 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.

Contract: Temporary daily supply; days agreed around availability

Start date: 19/10/2026

Hours: Term time, 8:30am–3:30pm on agreed working days.

Enjoy helping children learn while keeping some flexibility in your working week? Transparency Education is looking for a Daily Supply Teaching Assistant for primary school cover in Lewisham.

You will join classrooms when additional support is needed, working under the teacher’s direction. Bookings may involve general support, small-group learning or helping pupils with additional needs, matched to your experience.

Responsibilities

• Help pupils understand instructions and get started with activities

• Support reading, writing and number work

• Encourage positive behaviour and independent learning

• Assist with resources, transitions and classroom organisation

• Share relevant observations with the class teacher

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a school or comparable setting

• An adaptable approach to different classes and routines

• Good communication, literacy and numeracy

• Reliability and clear communication about availability

• An enhanced DBS check appropriate to the role, or willingness to complete one.
