Key Responsibilities of a Daily Supply Teacher:
Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) in line with the national curriculum.
Provide cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups, following lesson plans and instructions provided by the regular classroom teacher.
Engage students in learning activities, promoting active participation and fostering a love of learning.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, implementing school policies and procedures as needed.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Previous experience teaching in a Primary School setting is preferred but not essential.
Flexibility and availability to work on short notice, often on a day-to-day basis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff quickly.
