Our client is on the hunt for a dynamic and hands-on Finance Systems Manager to take the reins of our Dynamics 365 F&O solution.
In this crucial role, you'll own system maintenance, spearhead optimisation projects, and work closely with our Finance, Data, and Technology teams, backed by managed service provider experts.

As the linchpin for finance process enhancements within Dynamics 365, you’ll need to deftly tackle challenges, prioritise solutions, and foresee business impacts.

You’ll drive improvement projects, track progress, and cultivate a proactive, results-driven mindset. This role also involves refining finance processes within Dynamics 365, including data modelling and rolling out widespread automation for sharper reporting and analysis.

Day to day:

Being able to connect with finance staff at all levels is a must, creating an environment that’s all about efficiency and effectiveness. Keeping data quality, accuracy, and integrity within Dynamics 365 is absolutely crucial.
Working across departments is key to understanding data flows, setting up effective checks and reconciliations, and ensuring trace ability to the source.
Even though third-party support handles the big tech stuff, the Finance Systems Manager stays at the helm, guiding efforts, reviewing specs, managing delivery, and keeping everyone updated on progress.
Top-notch communication is essential, breaking down complex Dynamics 365 issues and solutions for management and staff, and bridging the gap for those less familiar with financial jargon.
A solid grasp of finance processes and expertise in the D365 Data Management Framework is non-negotiable. You’ll need the technical skills to analyse data issues and manage integration's, with backup from our Data Team as needed.
This role involves creating functional specs, testing improvements, managing changes and releases, and ensuring thorough testing every step of the way.Experience:

4+ years of experience with Dynamics365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) in a functional and system capacity.
ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualification preferred, with a solid grasp of financial accounting principles, month-end processes, and finance operations.
Must be able to adapt D365 processes to align with our clients needs while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Previous experience as a lead or manager supporting Dynamics365 F&O, responsible for coordinating issue resolution and driving improvement plans.
Ability to advocate for finance system requirements and offer proactive advice on feasible solutions.
Proficiency in defining best practices for storing, modelling, and presenting finance data for the Finance team.
Experience in Core Finance Modules, Sales Ledger and Stock Modules.
Strong familiarity with automated reporting tools and D365 reporting capabilities.

Experience initiating and managing improvement projects with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
Experience collaborating with external partners.
Experience managing enhancements or upgrades, from defining functional specifications to testing and release management.
Proficient in managing and maintaining integration's with D365, including expertise in the Data Management Framework.
Experience configuring D365 environments and deploying new Microsoft releases.
Proficiency in creating and managing work-flows and batch processes within D365.
