Contract: 6 months, Hybrid, outside IR35, rate DOE, Surrey
Project:
Automotive cybersecurity engineering role supporting the development of next-generation vehicle control systems. Responsible for leading cybersecurity activities across the product lifecycle, including threat analysis, security requirements, risk assessment, compliance evidence and collaboration with engineering teams and external automotive partners.
Essential Skills:
Automotive cybersecurity engineering experience
ISO/SAE 21434 lifecycle knowledge
Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment (TARA)
Cybersecurity concepts, goals and requirements definition
Requirements management tools (Polarion / DOORS)
Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)
ISO 26262 and safety-security integration
Automotive E/E architecture and communication protocols
Cybersecurity case development and audit evidence
Secure-by-design and threat modelling principles
Cryptography fundamentals, PKI and key management concepts
AUTOSAR Classic security modules (Crypto Stack, Key Management)
Secure boot and secure diagnostics knowledge
UN R155 / R156 and CSMS awareness
Experience within automotive embedded systems
