You'll be responsible for managing import and export customs clearances, supporting clients and ensuring all entries and documentation meet current customs and compliance requirements.
The Role
* Completing import and export customs entries
* Managing customs formalities across multiple transport modes
* Preparing customs documents, certificates and licences
* Providing customers with customs advice and support
* Maintaining accurate records and completing internal compliance checks
* Working with HMRC and other customs authorities
* Supporting bonded and special/simplified customs procedures
About You
We're looking for someone with 2+ years' hands-on customs experience, ideally covering:
* Import and export customs
* EU/EFTA movements
* Tariffs and Incoterms
* Customs compliance and AEO procedures
* Additional customs documentation and declarations
You'll also need good organisational and communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
