Description:
We are supporting our Dover based client in their search for a Customs Clearance Clerk, this is a great opportunity to join a well established team.
This is a full time permanent role that is based on shift work over a 7 day period (includes days, nights and weekends)
The main purpose of the role if to maintain customs formalities and complete customs entries for customers.
Duties include:
Data input and generating the correct documentation
Completing customs clearance and entries for all shipments
Dealing with queries over the phone and by email
Build a strong rapport with both customers and colleagues Requirements:
Experience of customs clearance/forwarding would be preferred but it is not essential as full training will be provided
Strong written and verbal communication is essential
Able to work effectively alone or as part of a team
Proficient with IT software such as MS office.
Flexible to to shift work (This is set in advance - 4 week rota)
Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)
