Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a successful fenestration business who are looking for an experienced software support technician to join their expanding team. This role plays a vital role in the development and maintenance of the software for all the products and systems that this company sell. The role requires to support development of new systems and enhancements to existing systems whilst supporting the smooth introduction to the fabricator and installer network
Our client is a UK leading specialist conservatory roof supplier and installer. Their products can help balance the temperature of a room that can be extremely hot in summer and very cold in winter. They also boast an impressive home extension and roof lantern portfolio, and are known for their excellent working culture.
The right candidate for this role will have experience estimating/processing conservatory roofs and using design software such as CAD/AutoCAD.
The role responsibilities:
* Communicate and support the Certified Fabricator network on all software related matters
* Liaise with product development team on implementation of new systems.
* Liaise with product development team on testing on new versions relating to products release.
* Liaise with fabricators on potential improvements / requests relating to products and software for existing systems.
* Populate and manage the existing log for bugs fixes and requests for software improvements.
* Daily technical support for the fabricator network.
* Regular visits to audit / train and update the fabricator software user(s)
Candidates’ skills and experience:
* Have a background within the fenestration industry within a similar role
* Have experience estimating/designing conservatory roofs using CAD/AutoCAD
* Be articulate and have excellent attention to detail
* Able to manage own workload and work towards deadlines
* Be computer literate
* Must currently reside in the UK
