We are recruiting for a Contact Centre Advisor for one of our environmental management clients in Portsmouth.

You will be providing an excellent service as first point of contact to all the customers in line with company standards. Arranging the most effective solution for the customers and proactively seek opportunities to upsell to customers. You will be resolving problems by clarifying issues and providing solutions, escalating unresolved problems when appropriate.

HOURS:

* Monday to Friday - 37.5 HRS

* Flexible hours between 8am to 6pm ( 7.5 Hours per day )

THE ROLE

* Respond to customer queries via all channels in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring Contact Centre targets are met.

* Use questioning and listening skills as well as knowledge of the system, to get to the root of each customer’s query and resolve wherever possible. Investigate further if necessary, ensuring you call them back within the agreed timescale.

* Identify the most suitable waste solution and capture all the relevant details from the customer in the system in an accurate and efficient manner, processing payments when required.

* Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner, ensuring you provide a resolution adhering to the Company’s procedures and escalate where appropriate.

* Proactively seek opportunities to effectively upsell DS packages to customers, making them aware of promotions and reinforce the benefits.

* Maintain the inboxes, web enquiries, book collections received via email and respond appropriately.

* Take ownership of own performance and be aware of personal performance against targets.

* Maintain customer satisfaction records through the customer satisfaction survey, feedback and commendations.

* Register members ensuring they understand the benefits and meet the requirements. Collate information required to register and update the membership list.

* Complete tasks as required and support other departments within the business when requested to do so. (e.g. POA, prior notice calls, driver paperwork)

REQUIRED SKILLS

* Experience in a customer service support role

* Excellent customer service skills including good communication skills

* An excellent telephone manner

* Strong organisational skills

* A positive and professional manner

* Strong IT skills

* Conscientious with a ‘can do’ attitude

* Reliable and motivated

* Flexible and a good team player
